The Prophet ﷺ would not sleep until he had recited it.
Most of us mean to. Then the day ends the way it ends — late, tired, phone in hand — and Al-Mulk becomes the thing we'll start tomorrow.
This sits on the nightstand, propped at an angle so you can find it without the light on. One press and it plays the whole set in order: Al-Mulk, the last two ayat of Al-Baqarah, the three Quls, Ayatul Kursi. Twelve minutes. It stops on its own, so you don't have to still be awake at the end.
What's on it, and why
Jabir narrated that the Prophet ﷺ would not sleep until he recited Alif Lām Mīm Tanzīl and Tabārak — classed authentic by al-Albani. "A surah of thirty verses will intercede for a man until he is forgiven" — Tirmidhi, classed sound.
"If somebody recited the last two verses of Sūrat al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him." — Sahih al-Bukhari 5010.
"Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi before sleeping, Allah appoints over him an angel who will protect him until morning." — Sahih al-Bukhari 2311.

Why is there only one recitation on it?
Because choosing is the thing that stops people. A player with a hundred surahs on it is a player you have to make a decision about. This one has a job, and it's already in the room where the job happens.

Where does it actually go?
